But here I am checking in. Seems I can't post on P/CP much anymore without someone questioning my service, or lack thereof. That, or when I am entering active duty.

I'm not a poser, I am planning on joining, but sometimes life throws you curve balls that keep you from pursuing certain venues. Right now I'm going through nursing school, but I do plan on going into bootcamp this summer and be in the Reserves. I have changed my mind several times (this I know) but I think this is the right decision for me. I really like my classes, and I am excited as to the possibilities. First step is CNA. I'll finally get to work with patients.

I can go to boot camp after these first round of classes. They end July 13th. My recruiter also feels this is a good decision, since my ultimate goal is to become an officer.

After being hounded so much over there because im not a vet, I think this site is where I'll start posting more frequently. Doesn't seem to have the "pressure" to have the BTDT status as the other place.

Welcome Hollie. You've chosen a good career field. My sister's a nurse. Not RN, but LPN. She works in a nursing home. They're working her something like 70 hours a week, though. But her base pay is about $17, so with all that overtime she's doing alright.
