I usta be stationed at the Redstone Arsenal.
I 'assisted' Wernher von Braun's Atmospheric Sciences Lab group...a buncha von burner's rocket weathermen...ahh when I was a kid myself.

I remember out on the range late at night with that spooky dense ground fog...like in the old wolfman and vampire movies. (about two feet deep)

I always thought a few of those ex-nazi...err ahh... atmospheric scientists were vampires! and that little old lady from Puerto Rico...who served up the spicy Caldo De Pollo at Headquarter's Mess Hall often spoke of smelling chupacabras...
(I think it was the Turkish Army down at the Hawk Missle School really...)

anyway...I recall those hot balmy summer nights
when you could hear the catfish flop in the Tennessee river...and there were honeysuckle and mint and magnolias...back before the kudzu.
Nights so still and sticky you couldn't even keep a sheet over you (unless you were Klan)...

When I reported in up at the Front Gate...the Post Locator couldn't find the 'Met Team'...kept me going over to Med-Evac every day for two weeks.
Those scrubs always looked reassuringly professional. (and the helos were kool)

I hope you make it in the medical field...it looks like there will be work enough for a long career.
