hmmmm, a new division assignment a year....must have been ruff.

it was rough, My first year active duty I was assign to the 24th I.D. But later that year it was announce that the 24th was being deactivated and reflag as the 3rd I.D. So the next year the Division was reflagged. Later was deployed to Kuwait for intrinsic action. When I came back I had orders for Korea. So the next year I PCS to Korea. I stayed there for a year with an Infantry Battalion. Then I reenlisted and I opted for Germany. So the next year I PCS to Germany and there was my longest stint two years. Yea it was rough PCSing.

been there done that! But then again, that's one of the reasons I joined up...see the world, get drunk, fight with squids, meet women, fight with squids, get drunk, meet women...well, you get the idea.

i hear ya gunny. That was my reason for joining to except for fighting squids rarely see them.
