Since this is a relatively new forum, I thought it would be a good idea to post a brief outline of what we did in the military and where we did it. I guess I'll go first.

7 years 3 months active duty Army 11B/11M infantry

1983-85 B 2/36 inf Ayers Kaserne, Kirchgoens, Germany (West Germany at the time)

1985-86 B 2/34 inf Fort Stewart, GA

1989-92 B 4/12 inf Baumholder, Germany

1993-93 A 1/8 inf Fort Carson, CO

Before active I joined in my junior year of high school for a split-option contract 63C(now 88M) truck driver. Did basic during the summer between my junior and senior year of high school in 1981. Basic was at Fort Jackson. During my senior year a friend convinced me to switch to an infantry unit. That sent me to AIT at Fort Benning the following year, 1982. I went active the summer of 1983. After leaving active duty in 1986 I went into the guard. Three years later I went back into the active duty. Since I ETS'd in 1993 I've been in and out of the guard and reserve. In my last guard unit I picked up the MOS 13B artilleryman.
