You know, I thought for sure everyone would have forgotten about that little incident from long ago, but apparently my old nickname is still considered a cussword.... Anyway, thought I'd drop in and say hi since y'all were discussing me (I discovered this by googling my nickname and saw this thread. BTW, Rocketeer, I saw what you said on Arrse about me....). For a quick update, I'm currently finishing up my last year or so in college (computer science degree), and then I'll find some job or other in aviation, not sure exactly what though. ---------------------------------------- "War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. stick around.. you'll find this site much more ' refined ' than the Brit bit...nice pleasant pace, no pressure to ' perform ' and a good mix of old jargon vets and others from parts unknown... should warn you not to mention ' aviation ' ..you'll be getting a peptalk from our resident nutbar -rrpearso- any minute now on how he got ruined for life by the military whilst seeking his dream among the clouds in the cockpit of a Spad... hehe.. I've seen a few of rppearso's posts, and though I haven't dealt with him directly (yet...) he does seem to have some grudge against his particular profession.
I think I will stick around for a bit and see what's happening.
