Before jumping in too far, one should investigate. We researched Operation Never Forget and found them to be fraudulent. Their organization did not administrate the Brent Morel bronze, nor the Howard bronze. The SOS Fund (www.SOSFund.us) did the former, and The Servicemember's Stewardship Foundation www.TheSSF.org) did the latter. There is substantial documentation that the ONF members tried to steal The SSF's Bronzes of the Brave Project from the SSF, where they were board members, including their URLs and Trademark! Even after being advised by the CDP (National Heritage Foundation) where their non-profit NOT CREATED UNTIL MARCH 2007, resides! They are apparently a scam!

Let's set the record straight -

I am Sam Patterson from Memphis-Operation Never Forget cannot possibly take any credit for Brent Morel's Bronze other then an artist in their Statues.com studio who created the wax mold of Brent , they did not even exist On June 21 , 2005-Operation Never Foregt was started by the person(s) who had the Bronze of Brent done that I worked on for 90 days to get started in the first place with Molly & Mike Morel for his post humus Navy Cross Ceremony here in Memphis at Kilo Co/USMC Reserves run by then First Sgt Robert Beith, now Sgt Major, 9th Marines, Camp LeJeune .

The ONF folks beged me to pick up the project in Aug. of 2005(I have the e-maisl t rpove it)& carry it forward - disagreed to continue to build my Board of Generals (www.thessf.org Board)- the ONF folsk did ot see the reason for a 40 page rock solid Bus Plan for a $ 20 million project nor the need to honor the Fallen at NCAA, NFL MLB & Minor Leage games & events as we are doing so they decided to vote (amongst themsleves as non-voting members of MY foundation) to take off with the project and steal the name and file FALSE Fraudulent applications to the Federal Govt/USPatent & Trademark Office s a Fraudulent non-profit that did not even exist at the time, just like it didn't exist in June of 2005 .

They are a copy cat - and you're right, Brent Morel was an AWESOME Marine .

We will be adding some more REAl Generals to our Board and several more living Medal of Honor recipients soon .

You will see our Bronzes at the following events-soon : Alabama/Georgia football game Sept 22nd Bryant Denney Stadium ; LSU/La Tech Tiger Stadium Nov 10th ; Troy/MTSU football Live on ESPN Nov 20th Tues night ; soon to be Baltimore Ravens and others plus Memphis Redbirds baseball Aug 31st ; Nashville Sounds July 14th; Birmingham Barons July 28th, Jackson TN Diamondjaxx to be announced and others coming soon to a Major League , NCAA or NASACR sports venue near you .

Hey you charity4truth: You prompted me to investigate for myself what is truth and what is fiction regarding the allegations you are attempting to spread about Operation Never Forget. In speaking directly with three board members, of which one is a brother of a fallen marine and two of active Marine Corp Leaguers, I find no wrong doing on their part. Our nation was built on free enterprise, they provided firm answers and evidence to my questions. In turn, you prompted me to investigate information about the SSF and BOB, it seems they are the joke here. Besides the fact they have no telephone contact information on their website, they have no satisfactory evidence of their non-profit status nor of their existence. I would be very attentive to anyone desiring to give money or be a part of a ‘ghost’ entity that feeds on the emotions of families who have lost their loved ones. My advise to you charity4truth, for the future…is to do your homework BEFORE posting such comments. Military families are very tight groups, it is not difficult to verify information nor to hear the real story. Not sure who you really work for here, but, be assured that no other families will be hurt or humiliated, as was done to families in TN, under the watchful eye of a devil-dog.

This is an email a friend sent my way, which shows Patterson's Pyramid Mechanism of taking advantage of Military personnel:

From: "Sam Patterson Jr" <sampatterson@rapidoffice.com>
To: "Paul Hederstrom" <iouchrist@yahoo.com>
Subject: Re: Some alternatives for the BOB Advisory Board to consider for the new year......!
Date: Tue, 16 Jan 2007 20:42:01 -0800.

(the formula)……………………There are @ 100 MILLION people in the US tied to the Military in some way : active duty/family of active duty/Vets/civilian military employees . I am to tap, eventually, 10 % of that . 10 million x $ 50/month is $ 500 Million , 5 % of that is $ 25 million - every month . THINK BIG ! This is a $ 28.3 Million project - today ……

Subject: History and WHY SSF from Beg

…..THe one important note I forgot in letter is : one of the reasons I set up the perpetual fund raising mechanism I did was so I would not have to charge an Ex Dir fee to the Foundation to be paid as Ex Dir for making this a full time Job basically - almost EVERY 501C3 non-profit has a Dir that is paid a salary - it's sort of like an incentive fee in a hedge fund which you will not understand, but they are based on performance - if it works, you get paid, if it doesn't, you don't, the better it works the more you get paid and I do plan on giving back at least 10 % of my earnings if it works and it will with the right effort ……

(same email) ……….. THis past summer I had the opportunituy to meet Lt. General Dennis McCarthy, the Exec Dir of the ROA/Reserve Officer Assoc. , the largestv of al the retired military organizations . I asked Dennis how many peple there are in the US tied to the military . He asked how do you mean . I replied : Veterans/active duty/ family of active durty and civilian military employees . He said @ 50 million . Bill Chatfield, Ex Dir of the Selective Srvice, corrected us bioth and said there are roughly 100 million .

I hope we can eventually tap @ 10 % of that 100 milliopn . Those 10 million all watch TV, have more than 1 cell phone, have a home phone and most try and be healthier by supplementing theor diet with some form of nutritional supplements and/or vitamins . 10 million spending at least $ 50/m – every month – through the Foundations is $ 500 million – 5 % of $ 500 million is $ 25 million .

(A taste of Mystery also) …….Something big is cooking beyond the 20,000 troop increase . General David Burford was a Brig General n the AL Guard and he has been tapped to be Maj General Commander of Spec Ops at Centcom . General Williams has been tapped from Reserve to active duty and moved to Camp LeJeune ……..
