Sadly, that "Wabbitt" departed this earth a couple of years ago. The Road of Life does not require a map to follow directions. Plan wisely. |

Howdy y'all (from Texas here)
I am new to this forum thing and am the wife of an Air Force pilot. My husband is getting ready to deploy to Qatar for a year in the next few weeks and this will be the first time he has been deployed. I joined looking for a place to find info and support and by the looks of it, there are some great people on here who deserve a lot of thanks and respect. Michelle |

Well, howdy and welcome ma'am.. wrestle yerself a steer for a footrest and pop a cold can of Lonestar..I'd offer you a yellow rose as a welcome gift, but someone ate the last batch thinkin' they were salad..
Don't you worry your little mind 'bout any deployment blues while hubby is away.. we'll take care of you [ just don't ask us to do any heavy lifting, some of us is getting on in years.. gunny excepted, of course.. he never ages ].. Been on the lonely end of the stick a couple of times with wife and kids, so I know the drill...make sure that you have a list of the official help lines just in case the dishwasher packs it in..and make sure the hubby has plenty of phone cards/chargers for his cell and other e-mail/contact requirements..makes the time go much faster and easier in this day and age... the rest of the time post away on any subject, we need other points of view than Typhoon's Youtube rants from time to time.. oh, and the first round at the bar is, I'm afraid, on your tab we don't discriminate when it comes to newbies buying.. There I was , at the head of the old 68th... |
