welcome.. and good luck on your recovery.. attitude is everything.. and there is no shortage of inspiration out there to keep one highly motivated..since I'm an old codger, I can recall the inspirational story of WWII flying ace Douglas Bader who crashed and lost both legs, but who ' convinced' the Air Force he could still do the job.. went on to command a wing and rack up impressive kills in the Battle of Britain before being shot down and living to tell the tale.. many other stories of guys pulling themselves back up and excelling..shouldnt' be hard for one so keen as yourself to find that purpose and niche.. I got Lady Gaga's autograph!! 'course, it's on a restraining order... |

Hey, never served in the military, my little brother is currently in the Navy. I've had a big interest in military strategy and military history since i was a kid.

I am a Air Force Veteran. 1966-1970, 63 on my next B/Day. I am a dinosaur not quite fossilized yet....! Actually I was a SAC Trained Killer out of Amarillo AFB and Plattsburgh AFB in the 461st and 380th FMS respectively. TDY service to Anderson AFB, Okinawa, Wake Island, and Hickam Hawaii. I was assigned to Mobile Recovery Operations and my service planes was the B-52 D Model and the KC-135 A. Did I mention that I was a dinosaur? This is my proof!
