Moe here. Hope I'm not the oldest. I'm retired Air Force. 23 Years as of Nov 1982. Worked in aircraft maintenance. Single and twin engine jets except for 2 1/2 years with AWACS.

I have done battle with the VA for almost 24 years so have done considerable research in the area of disabilities and how to get compensation. Will be sharing that info from time to time.

Glad to be on board and hope to learn how to navigate this site soon.

Most of my family, on my mother's side, migrated from western New York. My GG Grandfather, who is burried not far from here, served in the 8th New York Heavy Artillery during the Civil War.

New York City is another matter -- it is just too big and crowded for my tastes. Upstate is mostly beautiful.
