Hi!
I hail from Southern New Jersey... Just curious about lots of stuff. My Grandparents were in the Air Force. My mother didn't encourage my Grandmother talking about that part of her life with me, and I went long periods without talking to her at all due to family disputes. I lost her last year. She was a WAC in Germany. My Grandfather passed away when my mother was a teenager. I also enjoy learning about airplanes of all sorts, which is a relatively new thing for me, even though I've always "looked up." Sometimes I listen to ATC for enjoyment. I'm not the most exciting person! I live in the town of the first WWII Army Air Base. I suspect the airport will be growing when the Thunderbolt Raceway opens up. This looks a very interesting and nice place to be! |

Hi, New Guy here, currently stationed in Balad Iraq. Currently a squad leader in charge of 11 heavy equipment operators in an engineer company. Love the forums. Branch insignia would be a great addition to the avtars.

Another new guy. Just a country boy from Wyoming surfing the net from Fayettenam. And during the day I am disguised as a mild mannered Parachute Rigger.

Hey Tuffie, did my first tour at Bragg, is the rigger shed still down by the coscom area next to the aafees diner? We used to fire balls off the golf course and try to hit the shack.
