steely
DOC has been out of touch for almost a year now. Count him as MIA. Bean dropped in an out over at ARRSE, haven't heard from him in over two months. PT is still a regular at ARRSE...now going by moniker of PTCruiser CTAUCH is still hanging out at ARRSE. (still swears up and down to any who will listen that he is and was still innocent) I dropped the matter long ago and bear no ill towards him. WOTAN is still around....perhaps Rocketeer can get word to him, but you know how the canuck commo system works...(like their new subs?) as a matter of fact... yes, she is. Don't have any other contact info on her. I sent out another email to some stored email addresses on Rocketeer, Kate, Bean, Joe, PT. We'll see if they answer up the call.

Hello FNG checking in. I see where most posts on this thread are short so I shall keep this first post simple. My name is Scott Insley. I am a Vietnam veteran. I have been married a couple of times. I have three sons. Two of them are adults and one is about to turn 16. One son has begun to develop a life of his own. Two of my sons live with their mother. I am a totally disabled veteran with a service connection. I am rated by the VA as 100 percent T&P.
I post on Military.com as Cherryread. Most people have shortened that to simply Cherry. I have posted mostly on the MC PTSD forum. I am one of the Moderators on the MC PTSD forum. Alphadog told me about Military Spot. I have been reading here for a while. I read where you have a new PTSD forum. I would like to help with the efforts on that. I need to know what it is that you have in mind for PTSD Discussion. On the MC PTSD forum, the posters maintain a safe zone to post. But I also post on PTSD 101 as Wanderer. PTSD 101 is as rough and tumble as it gets. I have been posting on both types of PTSD Websites for more than two years. Good to see so many familiar names. Cherry |

Hello Cherry!
Cherryread is a top notch Moderator with MC. He, Alpha Dog, RVPaulBear and I try to sort the wheat from the chaff on a daily basis. I am glad to see Cherry here and invite him to this MilitarySpot PTSD forum: http://military-forums.net/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=6611083&f=238108062&m=724109062 |

Thank you for the welcome. Hello to everyone else.
I read the discussion on post counts, ranks, karma and such. Just to put my boots on the ground and not to pick a fight, I don't really care about that stuff. Just plain gab to bump up a post count rates kind of low on my BS meter if you get my drift. I care more about the content of my posts being worth the time it takes reading it. I would rather be Private Nobody who said something worth reading than Major General Gabby who says nothing worth reading. If the post content is all but worthless, then people skip it, ignore it or at best pick it to pieces so to me; the post count is not as valuable as the respect received from other people. Respect, well that is something you gotta earn. I probably shall not be posting a lot for a while. I am still figuring out how the buttons and gadgets work. Dave and Admin, thanks for the invite and the welcome. Thanks for helping introduce me to this place. Lots of respect returned to both of you. Looking forward to getting to know those of you not yet known to me. Cherry |
