SGreen...It b a minefield! Get banned and then make an attempt to find out precisely the WHY of the banishment! Worse yet, TRY to find out the WHY of someone else getting banned. Actually, I consider P/CP, with the management there, to be more along the lines of "The Far Side"...LOL

yogi and everyone else, as I have stated before, we(mods) are going to do our best to not let it come to that here! Of course we do still have TOU's and at times I am sure some will not abide by them causing for a banishment, but please don't be "afraid" to post your opinions and thoughts on the topic(s) at hand! The only real thing we aren't going to allow is extreme personal attacks in the open and SPAM! If you have some slight beef to settle with someone, take it to the heated debate topic, if it gets too steamy to the point of name calling and threats, take it to PM, that's all we ask!!

PM is the single most effective tool for avoiding banning type brawls.

If only P/CP had that...it would save a lot of trouble.

Probably what got me into trouble in the first place over on Da Far Side with GoldenShowers, when I reminded him the ONLY senior ncos I EVER saw in Nam that had his trash mouth were REMF?

Private Mail. A type of messaging. You have the option in your Profile tab. It's like Email, but is internal to the board. It saves all your messages and replies, but is totally private. AND I might add...reliable.

What I meant about change is this: If Military.com is content with the system the way it is, glitches, unreliable email and the other issues we have mentioned here, so be it. My point is...is that it could be even better if simple changes were made to its board operations.

You are familiar with the need for change, right? It's true with the Service. It is just as true for business. If you don't change or adapt, you no longer are effective at your stated mission.

As to your beef with Goldenwings....that kind of thing is JUST what needs to go to 'Private Mail' or PM. I will NOT step in on that situation. It is between you and he.

Private mail is a good way to communicate directly with another person to avoid misunderstandings and take private matters where they belong...just as long as the people aren't trying to show off...which...of course...is probably why a lot of people write what they do.
