Hi, I'm new to your group. My background is that I'm a former investigative reporter for Post Newsweek TV that wrote and published A Family Survival Manual for Y2K & Beyond in 1999. I was on Art Bell Coast to Coast, CNN, Fox News, Y2K consultant to Brigade Quartermaster, etc.

I think that Y2K was a wakeup call! Some awoke and others continued to sleep until recently with Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. So I decided to update my printed book to reflect future MONSTER hurricanes predicted by Max Mayfield, chief US meterologist; Asain bird flu that seems to have crossed over this past week so that humans can pass it on; and then the BIG one - Yellowstone geyser that when it erupts will be more powerful by 300 times than Mnt. Saint Helens! It could cause the Nuclear Winter.
