And our borders, can't do anything to discourage cheap labor coming in for business can we? The Mexican Army is evidently along just to protect the illegals and their drugs from any over zealous law enforcement they encounter.

The economic way around cheap labor is to raise the minimum wage which would raise the standard of living and cause less infation than higher oil prices.

The Federal minimum wage is $5.15 an hour which equals $10,712 for a full time employee without any time off working five days a week for eitht hours for each day (2080 hours).

The Federal poverty rate for a family of two (excluding Hawaii and Alaska) is $12,490 ($9,310 for single)as of Feb 13, 2004.

We will assume that they do not pay taxes except social security and medical which is 7.51% so that leaves the net earnings at $9,908.

Inflation will eat up some of the raise but since the poor generally spend most if not all of their earnings, it will also increase the overall economey.

Will prices go up? Of course they will but it should decrease governement support of many of the poor and encourage some people to work (the lazy will always exist). This should decrease government spending (yea, like that is going to happen)and decrease overall tax rates.

Mexico anoounced they were scrapping this program. Get this, because "anti-immigrant organizations may use the maps to target them." Conveniently left out the word "illegal".

Today, a Dallas School Board Trusted suggested that the city hire "educated" illegal aliens to teach in Dallas Public Schools, because there is a surplus of Spanish-speaking only students and a dearth of Spanish-speaking teachers. Unbelievable. The entire Southwest is being overrun by people from another country.

A couple of weeks ago, some people here in Dallas wanted to add statues of Mexican leaders (historical) in a Dallas park.

Tow) I watched a program on TV last night where they had a Mother &Son on the boy had brought a pamplet home to show his Mother and it was a mandetory class given by the School and it was teaching about the Koran.I tried to find a link but never could I think I think it was sponsered by ACLJ.Also they are teaching Chinese in schools in CA.as a matter of fact it is the choice in the world.

A few years ago I went to one of the kids' Christmas pageant....uhm Holiday Pageant. Christian themed Christmas songs/carols were specifically avoided. But I learned all about Hannakah and Kwanza through the "approved" songs.

Pataloco, please you christians are the vast majority, you haven't been persecuted in the western world in any major way for over 1500 years, except when you were persecuting eachother, seriously, you guys need to stop whining, it's like white people whining about being discriminated against race, seriously, you guys are the majority, everything is tailored to you, please, find something better to do with your time mmkay?
